Summer’s here, so nobody’s doing anything right now. We have so little news that we actually wrote about something Six Flags (yes, the amusement parks) did in Roblox.

🥳 But more relevant, our Mixed Reality gaming company, MixRift, launched the Discord server. If you want to know what we do, get discounts for our games (Hell Horde and Fractured) and have a good time, join us HERE. And say Hi! on #general, because we’re all there to say Hi! back 🙋‍♂️

No more Netflix app on Quest and Meta wants to buy a part of the company that makes Ray-Bans.

Since we just launched our company’s Discord, here’s a little Trivia on what this is about.

Discord was originally created by Jason Citron and Stan Vishnevskiy as a voice communication tool for gamers, aiming to replace older, more cumbersome solutions like TeamSpeak and Skype.

Launched in May 2015, Discord rapidly gained popularity among gamers. By 2021, it had over 350 million registered users and over 150 million monthly active users.

Discord is available on various platforms, including Windows, macOS, iOS, Android, and web browsers, allowing gamers to stay connected regardless of their device.

The term “Discord” has become synonymous with online communication among gamers, and its influence has extended into popular culture, with many gaming-related memes and references originating from or popularized on the platform.
