🤢 Meta just released an update for Quest devices that hopefully reduces motion sickness to those affected.

👅 And, a little bit tongue in cheek, Meta is not prioritizing tongue tracking. I thought it as a joke at first! 😁

🔌 Taking everyone by surprise, Microsoft pulls the plug on Windows VR headsets.

💪 I didn’t know about Enhance VR, a free Quest app that is designed to be a "gym for the mind". They just raised $2.5 million in investment to continue.

Did you know?

The first commercial VR headset was the Forte VFX1, released in 1994.

It was a head-mounted display that offered 3D graphics and head tracking, though it was quite rudimentary compared to today's standards.

The headset featured a 263x230 resolution per eye, a 45-degree field of view, and head tracking with three degrees of freedom. This allowed users to look around in a virtual environment by moving their head.

The VFX1 was compatible with several popular PC games of the time, such as "DOOM," "Duke Nukem 3D," and "Quake." These games could be played in a rudimentary 3D mode using the headset.
